Multi-entity group · ~100 foreign subsidiaries
From 39% to 97% of data correct on first submission
A group with roughly 100 foreign subsidiaries consolidated financial and operational data from spreadsheets submitted by each entity every closing period. Before IT-TIDY, only 39% of submissions were correct on first pass, and the central team spent days on corrections every cycle.
IT-TIDY connected each subsidiary's existing submission template to a governed central database. Validation rules, defined field by field and agreed with the process owner, blocked out-of-range and inconsistent entries at the source. Every change was recorded automatically.
Data correct on first submission rose from 39% to 97%, and central corrections fell by 85%. The method followed was Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC), a certified path.
